Belden neemt OTN Systems N.V. over
Belden Inc. (NYSE: BDC), een toonaangevende internationale leverancier van oplossingen voor gespecialiseerde netwerken, maakte vandaag bekend een definitieve overeenkomst te hebben gesloten voor de overname van het niet-beursgenoteerde OTN Systems N.V., een toonaangevende leverancier van infrastructuuroplossingen voor automatiseringsnetwerken, voor een bedrag van circa USD 71 miljoen (na aftrek van verworven geldmiddelen). De transactie vindt naar verwachting in het eerste kwartaal van 2021 plaats, en wordt gefinancierd uit de aanwezige kasmiddelen (saldo ultimo 2020: circa USD 500 miljoen). Los van de transactie verhoogde de Onderneming daarnaast haar prognose voor de omzet en winst per aandeel voor het vierde kwartaal van 2020.
