Clariant increases prices of Industrial & Consumer Specialties product lines in EMEA
Effective immediately, or as contracts allow, Clariant will raise prices of all product lines in its Industrial & Consumer Care portfolio in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region in the range of 25-35%, with higher increases for individual products that are particularly affected by cost increases.

BENEO kondigt investeringsprogramma van meerdere miljoenen aan om de wereldwijde productie van prebiotische cichoreiwortelvezels uit te breiden
BENEO, een van de grootste fabrikanten van functionele ingrediënten, heeft voor de komende jaren een investeringsprogramma van meerdere miljoenen aangekondigd om de capaciteit van zijn productievestigingen voor prebiotische cichoreiwortelvezels in Pemuco (Chili) en Oreye (België) uit te breiden. In een eerste fase zal meer dan € 30 miljoen worden geïnvesteerd. Het gehele programma voorziet een capaciteitsverhoging van meer dan 40% van BENEO’s wereldwijde productie van cichoreiwortelvezels om aan de toenemende vraag van klanten te voldoen en verdere groei binnen de markt te stimuleren. De werkzaamheden op beide productielocaties beginnen in 2022.

Produced by U.S. manufacturer Ascend Performance Materials, Acteev incorporates the odor-fighting and mildew-destroying antimicrobial benefits of zinc ions embedded into the matrix of superior nylon yarns and fabrics.

INEOS Styrolution confirms its investment decision for Europe’s first polystyrene advanced recycling pilot plant
INEOS Styrolution, the global leader in styrenics, has today confirmed its decision to invest into a pilot plant for advanced recycling of polystyrene. The site will be set up in collaboration with Recycling Technologies in Swindon, UK. It is expected to be operational in the second half of 2022.
