Zero greenhouse gas emissions for Perstorp’s Waspik site: a milestone in low footprint production
Leading global specialty chemicals innovator Perstorp, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Malaysia’s PETRONAS Chemicals Group Berhad (PCG), today announced that the Animal Nutrition focused plant in Waspik, the Netherlands has officially reduced its direct emissions (Scope 1& 2) to report zero over 2024.

Mondi’s re/cycle SpoutedPouch replaces plastic tubs for paint
Mondi, a global leader in sustainable packaging and paper, collaborated with Sherwin-Williams, a global leader in paints and coatings, to introduce re/cycle SpoutedPouch as a refill option for its concentrated paint, sold on the UK market. Leveraging the expertise in its Halle/Steinfeld plant in Germany, Mondi introduced a wider spout for easier filling and pouring, while ensuring the mono-material pouch is designed to protect its contents.

Wetenschappelijke studie toont aan dat BENEO’s Palatinose™ als drank voor het slapengaan de nachtrust verbetert
Een nieuw gerandomiseerd gecontroleerd onderzoek door Gaylor et al. toont aan dat BENEO’s koolhydraat Palatinose™ met langzame en langdurige afgifte de slaap verbetert wanneer het voor het slapengaan in de vorm van een drankje wordt ingenomen. Doordat Palatinose™ met name in de eerste helft van de nacht leidt tot stabielere bloedsuikerwaarden, kan het de diepe slaap helpen verlengen en dus bijdragen tot een goede nachtrust. Dankzij dit onderzoek is er nu extra bewijs dat Palatinose™ veel meer voordelen biedt dan enkel een gezonde stofwisseling.
