HONEYWELL APPOINTS CHRISTIAN FILD AS EUROPEAN MARKETING MANAGER FOR REFRIGERANTS
BRUSSELS, Belgium, Oct. 13, 2004 -- Honeywell (NYSE: HON) today announced the appointment of Christian Fild as European marketing manager for refrigerants.
Fild is responsible for helping customers transition from hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs) to Honeywell’s environmentally friendlier refrigerant solutions, such as AZ-20™
(R-410A). He will work closely with Honeywell’s customer base to continuously improve service and strengthen Honeywell’s distribution network in Europe, and will also focus on Honeywell’s ongoing development of innovative product applications and the creation of new markets.
Fild earned a doctorate in physical chemistry from the University of Münster, Germany, after previously studying at the University of Delaware (U.S.), and the University of Bristol (U.K.). Fild is also a graduate of the INSEAD MBA program in Fontainebleau, France. He previously worked for The Boston Consulting Group in Hamburg, Germany, where he was actively involved in projects to assist major European chemical and energy companies.
Fild reports directly to René Mueller, Honeywell’s commercial director for chemicals for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
