Clariant é listada no Índice de Sustentabilidade Dow Jones 2018

Esta é a sexta vez consecutiva que a Clariant é reconhecida como uma das empresas químicas mais sustentáveis do mundo, corroborando seu compromisso de longo prazo com a sustentabilidade.

(Fotografía: Clariant)São Paulo, 26 de setembro de 2018 – A Clariant, uma das empresas líderes mundiais em especialidades químicas, iniciou oficialmente a construção da primeira planta comercial sunliquid para a produção em grande escala de etanol celulósico feito a partir de resíduos agrícolas. Nesta moderna fábrica, a tecnologia sunliquid desenvolvida pela companhia será usada em escala industrial pela primeira vez. Para marcar a ocasião, foi realizada uma tradicional cerimônia de início de obras em Podari, próximo a Craiova, na região sudoeste da Romênia, com a participação de representantes oficiais do governo romeno, o embaixador suíço Urs Herren e uma comitiva da Clariant liderada pelo membro do Comitê Executivo, Christian Kohlpaintner.

Opening 1st PlasticRoad bike path in the world.A world premiere in the Netherlands: the first PlasticRoad bike path was recently opened in Zwolle, Overijssel. Inventors of the PlasticRoad, Anne Koudstaal and Simon Jorritsma – together with Member of the Provincial Executive of Overijssel, Bert Boerman and Alderman William Dogger of the municipality of Zwolle, cycled the first bike path made from recycled plastic. The concept was presented three years ago by road construction company KWS (a Royal VolkerWessels company). Wavin and Total joined forces with KWS in 2016 to develop the concept into a product. A second PlasticRoad bike path pilot in Giethoorn, near the pilot location in Zwolle, will be opened in November.
