Chemtura Corporation (NYSE:CEM) will increase non-formula-based prices for Metallic Stearates by $0.05 – $0.15 per pound, depending on grade, effective June 1, 2007 or as contracts permit.

Chemtura Announces European Price Increase on Tin Stabilizers
Chemtura Corporation (NYSE:CEM) announce a 15% increase on the selling price of their tin stabilizer range in Europe, Africa and the Middle East, effective 1st April 2007 or as contract terms permit. The increase, valid for all pack sizes, is driven by unexpected tight tin metal product supply and the dramatic increase in tin-metal costs over the last 12 months, and in particular over the last two months.

CHEMTURA INCREASES METAL ALKYL PRICES
Due to continued operational and capital cost demands, Chemtura Corporation will increase the prices of the neat portion of its aluminum alkyl products by 25%. Pricing for the neat portion of its Magnesium and Zinc alkyl products will be increased by 100%. These price increases will be effective April 1, 2007, or as contracts allow. For solvent blends, higher solvent purchase costs will be reflected in the blend pricing.
