Der von Husky am 30. März veranstaltete Kundentag am Sitz der Niederlassung Deutschland Süd in Augsburg war ein großer Erfolg. Mehr als 120 Gäste aus dem süddeutschen Raum, der Schweiz und Österreich hatten sich im Technischem Zentrum Süd eingefunden, um die diversen Vorträge und Vorführungen von Husky-Mitarbeitern zur Heißkanaltechnik, Tandem Systemen, In Mold-Produkthandling mittels Schwenkarmen (SwingChutes) sowie zur Praxis der Instandsetzung von Heißkanalsystemen und zur Beschleunigung von Farbwechseln auf Hylectric-Maschinen zu besuchen.

Husky announces new facility in Luxembourg

 DUDELANGE, Luxembourg — Husky Injection Molding Systems has announced plans to build a new PET mold facility on its Luxembourg manufacturing campus. The new facility is scheduled to open in spring 2006.

Husky Luxembourg to host open house

 Dudelange, Luxembourg—Husky Injection Molding Systems will host two open house events at its Luxembourg campus in April. A German-speaking session will be held April 15th, followed by an English-speaking event April 23rd.

HUSKY OPENS NEW TECHNICAL CENTER

More than 300 people attended the grand opening of Husky’s Mexico Technical Center. Bolton, Ontario, Canada — Husky Injection Molding Systems has added Mexico to the growing list of regions served by its worldwide network of Technical Centers. The newest facility, located in Mexico City, opened in September and is situated in close proximity to a number of key customers.

GATE THE SMALLEST PARTS WITH NEW NOZZLE FROM HUSKY

Gate the smallest parts with new nozzle from Husky Bolton, Ontario, Canada -- Husky Injection Molding Systems has introduced the newest member of its Ultra hot runner nozzle family, the Ultra 250. With a bore diameter of only 11 millimeters and a minimum nozzle spacing of 18 millimeters, the Ultra 250 is ideally suited for inside gating or small pitch mold layouts. The Ultra 250 is Husky’s smallest nozzle and is guaranteed leakproof for three years. “The Ultra 250 nozzle is an upgrade from the existing 250 Series,” says Martin Baumann, Marketing Manager, Husky Hot Runners. “The new nozzle has an optimized thermal profile and reduced heat losses. Plus, a new material for the nozzle housing has allowed us to open the melt channel up to four millimeters while maintaining the maximum allowable injection pressure of 22,000 psi (1517 bar).”

HUSKY FORMS NEW “AUTOMATED SYSTEMS” GROUP

Many customers use Husky’s Advanced Manufacturing Center for system testing and debugging. Bolton, Ontario, Canada – Husky Injection Molding Systems has created an Automated Systems Group whose mandate is to specialize on complete system solutions for customers. The new group was formed through a merger of Robotics and Systems Integration. “We have been providing system solutions to our customers for 25 years,” says Bruce Catoen, Vice-President of this new team. “In that time we have developed a reputation as innovators in the injection molding industry.” The continued development of this business is a key initiative for Husky going forward.
