TE Connectivity (TE), a world leader in connectivity and sensors, has launched Flex Grip wire connectors for fast, flexible and easy wire termination. The new connectors, which accommodate solid and stranded wires between 24 and 14 AWG (0.2 – 4.00 mm²), feature an operating lever that allows releasable and reworkable wire termination. The transparent housings enable users to visually confirm the proper wire strip length and insertion for good electrical installation. With the built-in test slot, the installers can conveniently conduct the electrical test while keeping the wires terminated.

This platform of products consists of a building automation-focused set of sensors brought together on a single printed circuit board assembly with an I2C (Inter-Integrated Circuit) digital output. Trends toward “big data,” the Internet of Things (IoT), and energy and air quality management are driving the need to integrate multiple commonly used sensors into a single, pre-engineered, compact and affordable module that OEMs can easily integrate into their designs. TE’s AmbiMate MS4 sensor module addresses customers’ needs to stay in line with these trends and enables them to go to market faster.

TE’s Potter & Brumfield T9G series relay is the smallest relay in its class, with a 30 percent smaller package size and 13 percent less PCB floor space all while keeping the standard footprint, allowing manufacturers to add more components on PCBs without having to compromise on relay performance.

HARRISBURG, PA., USA – June 15, 2017 – TE Connectivity (TE), a world leader in connectivity and sensors, introduces two new reflow capable connectors for customers who are changing their manufacturing processes to high performance reflow soldering of PCB assemblies. The reflow capable universal MATE-N-LOK connectors and Economy Power headers are both rectangular wire-to-board power connectors built on a tested solution where the thermoplastic housings are designed to withstand high temperatures associated with reflow soldering. Both connectors are suitable for a wide range of applications including appliances, HVAC equipment, security systems, power supplies, industrial machinery, elevators and escalators.
